Californian startup promotes a Kickstarter campaign for a hassle free decorating solution.

Aura LLC came up with a disruptive new product called eRing that promises to change the way we light up our Christmas trees with the first ever wirelessly powered Christmas lights.

Aura’s LED Christmas tree bulbs are wirelessly powered using a Power Ring which can power up to 100 lights within its range. The forest-green ring is placed at the bottom or middle of the tree depending on its size. The LED bulbs, that come in clear, crackled and frosted options are expected to last 20 years.

Consumers also get a choice of purchasing WiFi enabled bulbs that change colors via smartphone app.

The teams promises even more innovation in the future with options like music, motion, and custom-designed imagery.
